Design brief
Help keen hobby cooks save recipes from links and photos into one journal so their favourites stop getting lost.
01 · Brief
Saved everywhere, found nowhere.
I designed for keen cooks who save on the go, sort later and cook from the phone.
02 · Directions
Eleven looks. One journal.
Agents drew four looks, then styles from my own references, down to coloured pencil.
03 · Prototype
A journal you can cook from.
Clickable on a phone: paste a link, check what it read, file it, then cook step by step.
A cookbook, a stamp, then pencil.
Checked against
16
test questions from the sprint, answered on my own, with no agents or people.
Saved from a link, then filed.
What worked
- 01One flagged line made the check easy.
- 02Save anyway kept saving quick, flag and all.
- 03A struck-through line keeps the original next to the tweak.
What I’d change
- 01Calm the texture behind long ingredient lists.
- 02Set an import accuracy bar before building it.
- 03Talk to keen cooks before adding a meal plan.
