Design brief

Help people who forget to drink during the day keep sipping so they stay hydrated without feeling scolded.

01 · Brief

Water is easy to forget.

I aimed it at people who forget to drink and need a gentle companion more than a tracker.

02 · Directions

Three directions. Six capybaras.

Agents built three directions at once, then six mascots, and I chose one of each.

03 · Prototype

Water that rises as you drink.

Moss’s face sank at the goal, so I moved the goal line down.

Four capybaras. One Moss.

test questions I walked through myself, after three test agents tried the first run.

From hello to day one.

What worked

  1. 01Two agents set up and logged in four taps.
  2. 02All three agents called it easy to use and friendly.
  3. 03One tap to log, and one to take it back.

What I’d change

  1. 01Stage a reminder in the test. No agent saw one.
  2. 02List today’s drinks so earlier ones can be fixed.
  3. 03Prove the nudges change habits before adding more.

Next: Hazel.
